The first time Anthony Cullins, AKA “The Fallbrook Kid”, played at Gator By the Bay, he was a 15 year old guitar prodigy. He first picked up a guitar at age 10, and these days his primary musical influences are R&B, funk, soul, rock, jazz, and blues, prominently displayed in his eclectic improvisational style he calls "psychedelic soul music". Now,at 25 years of age, he has grown and matured as an artist and the accolades and honors keep piling on. In May, 2018, Anthony took first place at the Dallas International Guitar Show's "Young Guns" showcase, featuring a host of 20-year-old and under guitar slingers from around the world. He was selected as "Best Youth Original"  at the 2016 Temecula Valley Music Awards and headlined at the 2022 Dallas International Guitar Show and the 2022 NAMM show in Anaheim, CA.  Anthony was named Best Blues Artist at the 2023 San Diego Music Awards.years old, and named 2024 Artist of the Year and Best Blues artist at the San Diego Music Awards. He’s shared the stage and jammed with a wide array of notables such as Alvino Bennett, Paulie Serra, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Greg Douglass, Kid Ramos, Earl Thomas, and many, many more.
