Nominees for the 2026 San Diego Music Awards category of Best Country or Americana Artist, Ass Pocket Whiskey Fellas have developed a  well-deserved reputation for rousing, crowd-pleasing eclectic performances. Often incorporating and encouraging audience participation, the Fellas boast a playlist running the gamut from Irish traditional to classic country to bluegrass to classic rock, drawing a wide range of appeal for all ages. The 8 piece acoustic band was founded in 2011 to explore the connections between Irish traditional and American Roots, projecting rock band delivery while still utilizing only acoustic instruments.

The Fellas’ 3rd CD, Third Flagon, won “Best Local Recording” at the prestigious 2023 San Diego Music Awards.
